Program Overview

Leaders in the Paint is a basketball-based leadership and mentorship program designed to bridge the gap between high school and college by empowering high school juniors and seniors and college freshmen and sophomores during some of the most pivotal years of their lives. The program uses basketball as a platform to foster meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and prepare participants for success both on and off the court.

Recognizing that these years are often filled with major academic, personal, and career decisions, the program provides participants with mentorship, guidance, and resources to help them navigate college admissions, career exploration, and personal development. Through intentional mentorship and shared experiences, participants gain the confidence and support needed to become leaders within their schools, campuses, and communities.

Program Overview

Inspired by the true spirit of Christmas, How the Alphas Gave Back Christmas is the Xi Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.'s annual holiday service initiative dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and warmth to children and families throughout the community. Throughout the holiday season, the chapter collects new toys, coats, hoodies, and other winter essentials to ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas.

By partnering with local schools, businesses, churches, and community organizations, we transform generosity into action, providing tangible support to families while reminding them they are seen, valued, and loved during the holiday season.
